True BBQ and Whiskey Bar opens in Munster

MUNSTER | After making an appearance at Crown Point’s corn roast, True BBQ and Whiskey Bar opened its doors Tuesday, hoping to bring “a modern BBQ experience” to diners across Northwest Indiana.

The modern barbeque restaurant owned by Progressive Dining Group is located on 8940 Calumet Ave. True BBQ and Whiskey Bar is the 12th location Progressive Dining Group has opened, joining established area restaurants including Gino’s Steakhouse and Gelsosomo’s Pizza, which the group also operates
